Credit Unions need volunteers

Credit Unions in Swindon are run entirely by volunteers

The volunteers are special people who give their time for free, because they know that Credit Unions help people in their community.

Volunteers can be elected to the Management Committee and take on additional responsibilities, but only after being approved by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

Because Credit Unions handle money on behalf of the members, they take this responsibility very seriously.

You could become a volunteer of your Credit Union and assist with administration or publicity, giving you the opportunity to learn new skills.

Ask at the Credit Union about how you could get involved and help.
